This is the most complex of a family of 4D polytopes based on the 5-cell, the 4D analogue of the tetrahedron. You can read more about this family of polytopes here.
You see it here in the most symmetric possible 2D projection, showing the fivefold symmetry inherent in the 4D object. The colors reflect the fact that this was first projected to 3D using the vectors supported by Zometool. If it weren't for some unfortunate strut intersections, the 3D object could be constructed using Zometool.
