I painted this piece, originally, the night Harold Ramis passed away. I'm a huge Ghostbusters fan and grew up on the comedic work of Mr. Ramis. I don't usually get really distraught over celebrity deaths, yes it's sad most of the time, but HIS passing really cut me deep, almost like losing my dad a second time.
This remains one of my favorite pieces I've ever painted.
