Seattle Rainiers Baseball Team by HarrisWilson
The Seattle Rainiers were a significant minor league baseball team that played in the Pacific Coast League. Originally known as the Seattle Indians, the team was renamed the Rainiers in 1938 by Emil Sick, the owner of Seattle's Rainier Brewing Company. Sick invested in the team, leading to successful seasons where they won several pennants. The Rainiers' ownership changed hands over the years, being sold to the Boston Red Sox in 1960 and later to the Los Angeles/California Angels in 1965.
