The Jeffersons is an American sitcom 1975,. The show was created by Norman Lear and is a spin-off of the popular series All in the Family. It follows the lives of George and Louise Jefferson, a successful African American couple who move from Queens to a luxury apartment in Manhattan due to George's prosperous dry-cleaning business, Jefferson Cleaners.
